Most freelance services are priced by the hour or quoted case by case, which means the client carries all the uncertainty. Code and Canvas works differently. Every package has a fixed price, a defined scope, and a clear timeline. The work is scoped before it starts, not discovered along the way.
The five packages cover the most common needs of solopreneurs and small businesses: a complete website, a visual identity, copy that sounds right, translation that reads as written for its audience, and ongoing content and maintenance. They can be taken individually or combined. A client who starts with Build often moves to Retain. A client who needs Voice first will sometimes follow with Translate. The packages are designed to work together without requiring you to commit to more than you need at the start.
Translate

EN, NL, and DE in all directions. The difference between a standard translation and a Code & Canvas translation is register : the understanding that words can be technically correct while the meaning lands wrong. A linguistics background makes this legible in a way that most translation services cannot articulate. If a phrase sounds off, there is usually a structural reason, and finding it is part of the work.

Voice
€1,100 : 2 weeks

Copy and brand voice
For businesses that have a site but the copy is not doing the job : or for clients returning after a Build who want to extend the voice to new pages or campaigns. Voice is also the right package for businesses preparing to translate content: getting the source copy right before it moves into another language is significantly cheaper than fixing a translation of weak original copy.

Identity and visual assets
For businesses that need a visual identity without a full website build : or that have a developer but need the design layer handled with intention. Brand is also the right starting point for clients who want to establish their visual language before investing in a full site.

- Colour palette : primary, secondary, and neutral colours with usage guidance
- Typography system : heading and body typeface selection with hierarchy guidance
- Brand guidelines document : one-page reference for consistent application
Retain

Monthly content, design, and maintenance
The monthly retainer exists for clients who have an established online presence and need it to keep working : new content published consistently, design assets produced as campaigns require them, and small site fixes handled without a separate project conversation each time.

- 1 blog post up to 1,000 words : researched, written, and ready to publish
- Up to 2 hours of design or site updates : new assets, page edits, fixes
- Monthly 30-minute check-in call : priorities, performance, what's coming
- Priority scheduling for new project work
Build
€3,800 : 5 weeks

Website, design, and copy
The flagship service. A complete website : designed, built, and written by one person working to one vision. No briefing a developer separately from a copywriter. No inconsistent output because two people had different interpretations of the brief. Build is the clearest expression of the Code & Canvas positioning: the whole picture, handled.

- Discovery session : goals, audience, tone, existing brand assets
- UI/UX design : wireframes and visual design for all pages before build begins
- Front-end build : up to 6 pages, responsive, performance-optimised
- All copy written : in the client's voice, for the client's audience
- Basic on-page SEO : title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, image alt text
- 2 rounds of revisions across design and copy
- Handover : walkthrough of how to update and maintain the site
SEO
€2,500 one-off / €1,500/month

Technical clarity. Strategic patience.
Most SEO services sell rankings. Code & Canvas sells visibility that makes structural sense. The one-off assessment identifies what is blocking your site from performing, fixes the technical foundations, and delivers a strategy document you can act on immediately. The monthly retainer implements that strategy, tracks what moves, and adjusts. No black boxes, no vanity metrics.

- Full technical SEO audit : crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data
- Implementation of all identified technical fixes
- Keyword and content strategy document : what to target, what to write, and in what order
- Monthly performance reporting : rankings, traffic, and actionable next steps

- Monthly strategy call : review results, adjust priorities
Not everything fits a package.
Some projects are smaller than the full scope. Some combine elements from two packages in ways that need a different structure. Some are things that have not been asked for before. If what you need is not listed above, get in touch with a brief description and we will work out what makes sense.

Every engagement starts with a no-commitment conversation. You describe what you are working on and what is not working. We establish whether the project is a good fit and which package makes the most sense. No work begins until scope and price are agreed in writing.
You work with one person throughout
There is no account manager, no handoff to a junior, and no moment where the person who understood your brief is replaced by someone who did not. The same person who heard what you needed is the person who delivers it.
You leave with something that works
Every package includes revision rounds and a handover. The engagement is not complete until what was agreed is delivered to the standard agreed. Revisions are part of the work, not an extra charge.
