Why outsourced copy usually doesn't sound right
The most common objection to outsourcing copy is that it will not sound like you. It is a reasonable objection. Most copy that gets outsourced does not. The reason is usually that the writer started writing before they understood how you speak: the cadence of your sentences, the vocabulary you reach for, the things you refuse to say.
Voice fixes this by listening first. The brand voice document is built before a single line of copy is written, and everything that follows is checked against it.

How it works

Listen: A conversation about how you talk about your work. Not a brief document: an actual conversation. The questions are specific. What do you say when someone asks what you do? What do your best clients say about working with you? What language do you never use?

Define: The brand voice document is produced from that conversation. It covers tone, vocabulary, register, sentence structure, and a list of words and phrases to avoid. It is a working tool, not a brand strategy deck.

Write: Copy is written against the voice document. Every page is drafted with your specific reader in mind: what they already know, what they need to understand, and what you want them to do next.

Refine: Two rounds of revisions. The first round usually addresses structure and emphasis. The second is fine-tuning. Copy is delivered ready to paste when the second round is complete.
