    What drives me

    I started Code & Canvas because I kept seeing the same problem: businesses with something genuinely worth saying, let down by a website that didn't say it, copy that didn't sound like them, or a translation that got the words right and the meaning wrong. My background is in linguistics, which means I spend a lot of time thinking about how language works and why it so often doesn't. That perspective runs through everything I build.

    I help solopreneurs and small businesses build a clear, coherent online presence. That means websites that work, copy that sounds like you, design that fits the brand, and content that travels across languages without losing what made it worth saying in the first place.

    A conversation before anything else

    Every engagement starts with a no-commitment conversation. You describe what you are working on and what is not working. We establish whether the project is a good fit and which package makes the most sense. No work begins until scope and price are agreed in writing.

    You work with one person throughout

    There is no account manager, no handoff to a junior, and no moment where the person who understood your brief is replaced by someone who did not. The same person who heard what you needed is the person who delivers it.

    You leave with something that works

    Every package includes revision rounds and a handover. The engagement is not complete until what was agreed is delivered to the standard agreed. Revisions are part of the work, not an extra charge.
